This ready-to-use translucent water-effect gel has been specially formulated to replicate the appearance of natural river water, making it ideal for model railways, dioramas, military models, and scenic projects. Its subtle colour and gel consistency allow you to produce convincing inland waterways without the complexity of two-part resins.

River Water can be applied directly to a prepared riverbed or canal, and because the gel is translucent, Vallejo recommends painting the base in darker shades beforehand to enhance the illusion of depth. The product dries in approximately 24 hours, depending on the thickness of the application.
